Gracišce is one of the most beautiful medieval small towns, which besides five churches has also the greatest number of secular architectural monuments, among them the parts of the walls, the tower, the Renaissance Salamon Palace and a whole street of artisan houses from the 15th century, bearing the incised building dates and handicraft symbols on the stone lintels. The largest church of the place is the Parish Church of St. Vito, and from there one of the most marvellous views lies towards the northeast area. In the Church of St. Euphemia and St. Blaise there is stored a large Romanesque crucifixion from the 13th century. The Chapel of St. Anthony was used by the bishops of Pican for services during their stays at the summer house in Gracišce. The small votive Church of Our Lady on the Square, with a beautiful porch and frescoes, is very particular for the votive nails fastened between wall stones, as a pledge for curing from illness or sterility.
Palazzo Salomon is a beautiful 15th century palace, renovated last time back in 1853. Built in the Venetian Ghotic style, the property is a protected monument of culture. Situated in Gradišce, several kms away from Pazin in the direction of Labin. Price: on request .
